==Pre-campaign notes==

Always lived by his wits; parents were drunken losers in the slums of [[Sophia]]. Left as soon as he could, but instead of moving up he went to a world where he could be king of the lower classes.

He cares a lot about his friends, but doesn't care about anyone else. He'd happily torture a fluffy kitten if it benefits him or someone close to him. His family (including 5 guys who might have been his father, around occasionally and then gone just as quickly) don't count as people he cared about.

Now a successful hitman, often working for the Castillian Mafia (and quite capable of passing himself off as a [[New Castille|Castillian]] when necessary) or doing 'black budget' work for various governments.

3 years ago, the [[FCI]] partnered him up with one of their own agents “to keep you honest”. It turned out that guy had been told the same thing, and they were both on the grey side of the law. That guy was [[Miscalfildwendings Falfarionstallberger]], otherwise known as the Sapphire Shroud, and they've been good friends ever since.

A message left a month ago on his voicemail said that Miscal was going to be on Magellan for a really big job, and Skyler should look him up. Now, on [[Magellan]] after a hit on a corporate bigshot, he decided to drop in and see Miscal.

Last night, after carrying out one part of his job, Skyler overheard something worrying – apparently, Miscal has been set up by his current employer, and they think he's walking right into a trap. So that makes it even more important to contact the guy.
