The culmination of the [[Freedom War]], in which the [[United Democratic League]] finally managed to reject [[Ecclesiastical Law]]. It was widely believed that the orbital bombardment of [[Cyradian]] by the [[Leviticus|Temple of the Law]] in Octember 1011 would destroy the resolve of the rebels utterly.

However, the unexpected arrival of [[Antonia Sky]] and a band of other popular mythical heroes (the exact lineup varies in each telling of the tale) urned the tide of battle, and allowed the rebels to board the Temple, seizing both [[tank]]s and supply [[freighter]]s.

Facing a continuation of the decade-long war of attrition, after which the loss of [[Resindorven]]'s ore mines was already causing severe problems for the church administration, the church ordered the war ended.

By the end of Octember, [[Cyradian]], [[Wellspring]], [[New Doncaster]], [[Nix]] and [[Resindorven]] were granted democratic rule.
