This term may also be found in general use on ultra-pacifist worlds such as [[Bane]] where even talking about the use of firearms is a crime. Both radical and [[radiation storm]]s are commonly abreviated to 'rad storm', so there is just enough plausible denyability if use of these terms is overheard or recorded.

'''Etymology:''' By analogue with [[radiation storm]], also something a sane person would never get involved in.
