Tengenwold was a small class-3 planet, trading mostly in leather and meat, until it was destroyed by a freak coincidence; a [[ZPM]] discarded in low orbit was protected by its field long enough to reach the planet's surface, striking a supervisor at the (mostly automated) planetary power distribution grid just before he was able to hit an emergency shutdown control. A fault in one of the main power stations (itself incredibly unlikely) was therefore allowed to proceed unchecked, and the explosion of a continental-level substation scattered enough Heavy Ozone into the atmosphere to render the planet uninhabitable.
