Created by a group of [[makeshift]]ers on [[Alfeya]], the Triton was a popular ground and water craft. The original model was based on a [[Metagalactic Titan-II]] [[cruiser]], with its engines replaced by large [[ZPM]]-powered screws. This design was modified by its creators, eventually becoming a hovercraft/submersible hybrid capable of operating both on land and under water.

The name [[Triton]] refers to both the vehicles, the company founded by [[Llaraman Steele]] and [[Walther Jenket]] to mass-produce craft based on their design, and Steele's advanced [[jet engine]] design which operates effectively in either air or water.
