The culmination of the Freedom War, in which the United Democratic League finally managed to reject Ecclesiastical Law. It was widely believed that the orbital bombardment of Cyradian by the Temple of the Law in Octember 1011 would destroy the resolve of the rebels utterly.
However, the unexpected arrival of Antonia Sky and a band of other popular mythical heroes (the exact lineup varies in each telling of the tale) urned the tide of battle, and allowed the rebels to board the Temple, seizing both tanks and supply freighters.
Facing a continuation of the decade-long war of attrition, after which the loss of Resindorven's ore mines was already causing severe problems for the church administration, the church ordered the war ended.
By the end of Octember, Cyradian, Wellspring, New Doncaster, Nix and Resindorven were granted democratic rule.
