A shadownet echo for the discussion of the Rasterian cult. The majority of users are Radical Rasters, who use the group as an alternative to a formal church for their faith.

There are also a number of sub-groups, used by those lower in the church who wish to get advice from those of a similar level. For example, Soc:Religion:Raster:Raster:Raster:Raster:Raster:Raster may be used by 6-line novices who don't wish to clutter the shorter echo with conversations which won't interest those who are already more enlightened. However, many stations are known to sqush the echo name, making it appear as if all incoming posts are on the 3-line version of the channel. Therefore it is almost unheard of for anyone to complain about posts being in the wrong echo.
