Around this, and now the more popular attraction, is a shopping village known as the Torus. It consists of a single, circular road nearly a kilometre in diameter, with a mirrored ceiling 18m overhead. On the inner side of the ring road are fashionable shops, including the largest single branch of [[Dyclaess and Schrödinger]]. On their 'back' walls, each shop has massive picture windows which allow shoppers to watch over the zoo's current ''featured landscape'' and its animals, which changes every 8 months. The other landscapes have their own viewing galleries, above and below the torus, to which members of the public are allowed access for a nominal fee.
