The series is intended to be educational, aimed at children aged 7-12, and stars the eponymous anthropomorphic tiger, as well as his friends Larry the Eel and Benjamintrude the Elephant. Usually one of the friends goes adventuring, and Reginald must travel to "another planet" by climbing through the mysterious metal tubes that lie hidden behind certain trees to rescue them.
