An unusually deep 'growling' voice, which is currently enjoying high popularity in Retropunk vocals; it is also instantly recognisable on the planet Nix, where everyone learns to speak like this in order to work with Sympathetic Software's Dragon Voice Recognition (which isn't as good as the voice recognition technology in use everywhere else, but has the advantage of being based on an algorithm invented on Nix)
