Nemesis is a starship, but not a temple. It used to be known as the Temple of History (often shortened to Genesis). Pirates somehow managed to capture the outer temple and then blast their way through the shielding to the divine crew's quarters. The Genesis was, at the time, the only ship not to have an auto destruct in case of an emergency.
The Intergalactive Universal and Apostolic Church of Terran Catholicism would like to make it clear that the Starship Nemesis does not exist. Nor does it have a primative weapon which accelerates steel rods 94' in diameter and 3 miles long to 99.8% of lightspeed.
