An intangible and incorporeal entity which is the source of all goodness in the universe; the Catholic Church (commonly abbreviated just to the Church) is one part of the Divine Trinity. Different cults have differing views on the nature of the Church. While some believe it is all around us and yet untouchable, others view it as some kind of parallel space, as far away as the thickness of a shadow. Some even conceive the Church as a race of perfect beings walking among us, but only visible to those who are perfect in heart and have committed no sin in their lives (a group which may include the pope, although he has never made any official statement confirming or denying the existence of such beings of light.
