Void release is a highly specialised martial art developed by the void brothers cult.
The basic principle of release is based on clearing the mind of all distractions. Users train obsessively, with deep meditation, to develop a highly focused instinctive response to certain stimuli. This allows a void master to flawlessly execute complex kata, making dozens of attacks in a few seconds, whenever their trigger conditions are met.
Common triggers include being attacked from behind, or the movements of an opponent pulling a concealed weapon.
This means that the more effective a void reease becomes, the harder it is for them to resist the impulse. In real terms, a release can be thought of as an incredibly powerful berserk rage which lasts 10-15 seconds.
