Bane

The most notable fact about Bane's legal system is that here, any act of violence is a crime punishable by banishment. Even an irate man who relieves his frustration by punching his computer could theoretically be banished, although in small cases such as this he would more likely be fined.

An assault which causes the victim to require medical attention (generally regarded as a broken bone or worse injury) is automatically a capital offence, as is returning to the system once banished, or possession of a weapon of any kind.
