Zomg is an expletive often found on shadownet publications, where it is generally used to replace any other profanity by a user who knows their upstream is being watched by some kind of corporate or judicial entity.
Somehow, the cops have yet to figure out this simple code.
Etymology: An antique worldnet child-safety filter used to substitute "zomg" in place of profanity in downloaded pages. As the shadownets are more mature, the word became symbolic of someone whose "parents are watching".
More recently, the term Desu has come into use in the same way, but with different meaning.
