The Ecclesiarchy is a branch of the church (currently led by Archbishop Jaim) which is responsible for government on a number of worlds. Each world is ruled by a Bishop, and its government is called a Synod (Not to be confused with the Synods of the Hierarchy).
Laws, for the most part, are derived directly from a document known as the Divine Law, and the planetary governments have purely administrative powers.
