Sector Rescue Service

A devision within the sector governments of Magellan, the SRS is responsible for dealing with fires, structural incidents, and the aftermath of collapses. However, in reality their most common task is rescuing people who have got stuck in ventilation ducts or attempted climbing on rooftops. The SRS are often seen as enemies by shaft diving groups and vert gangs; whose members are among the people most commonly in need of rescue.

Among the most famous groups are the Deep Divers, regarded as the world's elite rescue force, who theoretically operate out of <address root="Magellan">[/Gate Basin], but are also responsible for expeditions into the deserted [/Glasshouses]</address> sector on occasion.
