Employed by the Castillian Mafia, Daibi was one of the most well known professional killers in the universe. At one point, coverage in the press made him so well known that an independent film, Close Range, was made portraying him as a kind of honourable anti-hero.

However, his practise of killing targets face-to-face eventually led to his demise, as he contracted lung cancer after inhaling radical gasses from his las pistol's ZPM.

With the permission of his brother, Daibi's picture now appears on gun-safety leaflets and advertising campaigns next to the slogan "External use only", warning future generations about the unseen danger of using las weapons indoors without proper ventilation.
