Auric I/Goldstar University

Theoretically a department of the Callibrate Vertical University, Goldstar is a research outpost on one of the larger chunks of Auric I. It is mostly self-managed, and actually has Planetary Government authority over the two mining outposts in the system.

The college has approximately 7400 students (split between 2 half-year groups of 4000, who study alternately), 1800 academic staff (of whom 300 are only present for one half year), 800 pure researchers (who don't quite count as either students or staff), 350 admin staff, and 1200 catering and other support employees. Of the university staff, about 40% have an Auric passport, 50% are Callibrate Citizens and the remainder are from other worlds.
