Temple Grand Synod

Listed on the temple ship schedules as 'Synod', this meeting (The most well-known of the Grand Synods) occurs at intervals ranging from a few days to a year and a half. Some or all of the temple ships warp to a point in deep space, where their permenant crews can conduct a meeting using specialised videoconferencing equipment to prevent interference.

These meetings discuss a range of topics related to the crews, including any changes to the scheduling algorithm (especially if a new planet is to be added to the lists).
