A geological phenomenon which affects several Geologic Engineering projects started in <date>3000-2600</date>. The techniques used at this time for extruding artificial continents were somewhat unstable, and the continents thus produced commonly suffer from either Seamy Side Volitation (SSV) or Pressure Side Volitation (PSV), producing different patterns of destructive subsidence.
