Daughter of talented makeshifter Charlton Charlton Goop and prostitute Violi Spendser, Millicent grew up as a spoiled child. She was never short of anything, a state which continued after she eloped with Bishop Wargeld, the tyrant ruler of Lexicara.
Following the death of her husband in 855, Millicent proclaimed herself Bishop Millicina, and took control of the planet in a military coup, aided by Scientor Gendes (popularly believed to be her lover), the leader of the planet's high-tech elite force.
