Magellan/Still Forges

A district of Magellan, Still Forges is a thin strip sandwiched between <address>Basin to the north, and City, Burningham and Tunnel to the south. On a map, the sector has a shape vaguely resembling a combat knife (including serrations caused by continual boundary disputes with Tower above), stabbing into the heart of [1]. Some paranoid people postulate all kinds of mad theories, involving city planners who were psychic, cursed, insane, scheming or all of the above.</address>

Still Forges was originally created as a factory district, by a couple of rich investors who hoped to be able to capitalise on the predicted high demand for large scale manufacturing plants with easy access to the <address>Basin ports. Unfortunately, the demand never materialised, and the sector now contains just over a hundred</address> floors of slums in massive towers, stretching from the pits at B38 all the way up to A51.
