Magellan/Evensbridge/Old Bridgeport
Built on the remains of the pre-megacity town of Bridgeport, this is a haven of culture. Its main street (a spiral path stretching from old ground level up to A64 before continuing up into
Plaza
) is lined with the baroque frontages of theatres and galleries, gaudy glass-and-iron restaurants and museums (many of them constructed from the remains of older buildings, transported whole from other parts of the city).
Where Evensbridge Avenue enters Bridgeport from the north (coming from
Gardens), it splits into 3 smaller streets, making the address numbering even more confusing for visitors. These connect with the Spiral on levels A3, A24 and (extending out of the sector slightly) A66. The western section of the Avenue connects on A31, and stretches away towards [1].
