<ooc> Born in an extremely conservative fishing village, Jarrid has never felt he fitted in. As soon as he was able to leave, he moved to the big city, where he soon met his 'soulmate' Damien Pilsen, who seemed to share both artistic tastes, worldview and political and moral codes. The two went on to work together in the adult video industry, under the stage names Blake G. Long and Deannori Lafayette, and then moved in together.

Their director, Morgan Troy turned out to be heavily in debt to some dangerous loan sharks. When the criminals sent thugs to threaten Lafayette (Troy's biggest asset), Jarrid turned to one of his fans, Jackarden Wallase, who has a significant role in the Castillian Mafia. Some time later - possibly through gratitude - Blickhausen became slowly more involved in the mafia. He is known to have sold [[:Category:Drugs|]] to his actor colleagues, before moving on to manufacture and distil chemicals of his own.

As of <date>845</date>, Jarrid is now the manager (and chief director) for Bare Truth Productions, and has been doing his best to create a viable career path for performers who have been forced into pornography, allowing them to act in the mainstream media. Immediately before the events of the campaign OOC:Who Knows, he was travelling to set up a deal with the Magellanic Entertainment Network, where they would consider relocating former Castillian porn stars to Magellan where they could have a TV career not noticeably overshadowed by their earlier work. </ooc>
