A competition in a variety of field sports, held every 6 years on Rairfield. The competitors are generally of school age, and the winner in each contest earns points for their chosen academic discipline.

2 years after each Junior competition, the same stadiums are used for the adult Olympiad, at which professional athletes represent their planet. This competition was originally created to fill the gap between the disabled and main competitions (making an Olympiad every 3 years), but the disabled competition was cancelled shortly afterwards in order to give a longer interval in which the sports grounds can be completely renovated.
