A disposable bank account, used as a cash-equivalent on worlds with no hard currency.

Transcash is a method for keeping and transferring money without using an account by which you can be identified or tracked. A transcash account is identified by a private key stored on a Keytag; you can transfer money to or from the account as if it was a normal bank account, but the identifying keytag is the only form of identification needed. Single use keytags with a Transcash account associated (commonly known as cards) can be bought on many high-infrastructure planets; on Magellan, you can get one dispensed from the same bank terminal you use to transfer money between accounts.
