Crossed out
A slang term for someone (especially a celebrity) who doesn't realise they're getting older, or who relies on talents they don't really have. Especially a celebrity who gets hired for concerts and TV roles based on their number of fans, even though they've lost the talent or looks that originally attracted those fans.
Etymology: From Cristofa Cross, who refuses to admit that years of drug abuse has left him tone-deaf, and continues to release awful music.
