Named after an ancient avatar of communication and misunderstanding, Siri was mocked at school for her unusual name. She learned to sing as a way to get away from those who mocked her, and it seems she had the last laugh when she became the first Fractal Tone vocalist to top the Magellanic download charts. However, she and her band, Muse Unchained disappeared in <date>Cat 841</date> in an ill-fated project to stream a concert live from the lower levels of Glasshouses.

Since her rise to fame in <date>843-842</date>, Siri has become the most popular name for newborn girls; though few of the parents who choose it know the origin of the star's name.
