The Pope is the official head of the Church; sometimes represented as a mortal incarnation of the perfection of the true Catholic Church. Since before recorded history, the succession of the pope has been safeguarded by Immaculate Conception, which allows the Pope's son to inherit His divinity, and proves that the perfect blood cannot be watered down.
