Canonically "ib4" exactly, capitalisation is ignored. Short for "In before".

Shadowtalk term to indicate that the associated topic is perceived to be the least likely topic to be referenced for the current tone of the conversation. The use of this term transforms the current topic. This has not been discussed so far. It also indicates the initial conception of particular unique concepts as belonging to a particular point in time/space.

Etymology: Originally devised as a turn of phrase to predict the future course of the thread of conversation. This was considered less interesting with the development topic inter-relation analysis techniques than the prediction of the least likely topic to turn up.
