A fictional (and highly illegal, if it existed) space construct which consists of 3 artificial planetoids, <address>[/Beltane], [/Feedera] and [/Malhyanthine], connected together with downline and placed in the same orbit around [Caine's Star]. The 4th main member of the ring (spaced evenly with the 3 rocks) is [/Shipyard], a massive deep-space construction facility hanging just within the gravity well of an unregistered Accelerative Discontinuity.</address>

The majority of the ring, however, is made up of Science Pirate ships strung along the lines. The Outer Ring is the universe's largest pirate colony, mainly facilitated by Shipyard's discontinuity, allowing unmonitored traffic for any pilot skilled enough to abuse it.
