There are a growing number of Human Supremacist, or Humanist, groups. Most were founded in opposition to a perceived threat to humanity from the evolved Vermen. Some, however, are just old-fashioned racists.
Many modern humanists persecute those who have evolved away from the human average, claiming that those whose families are all extremely short or tall, or those with black or white skin, or ethnic groups with no hair, are no longer 'human'.
It is common for some more radical humanist gangs to attack such 'edge people'. Against Vermen, verbal abuse and the distribution of propaganda is more likely, as attacking one tends to lead to retribution from every Imperial citizen for quite some distance.
