Amnesiacat bug

A bug reported (but never actually confirmed) in some models of the Alfeya Edutainment Robokitty, which allegedly causes data to be randomly dropped from the robot pet's medium-term memory. Some people have found the 'amnesiacat' persona to be more fun to play with, and so various guides have appeared on worldnets giving advice on how to cause the memory to fail. So far, the only method which has been known to work reliably is buying a bootleg Robopussy model, many of which used memory chips from a defective batch rejected by North Plosten Electronix in 858. There are, however, several sets of instructions which involve connecting Kitty to a computer and entering a long sequence of incomprehensible instructions; some of these may cause kitty (or computer) to overheat, install zombie programs, or transmit your stored Transcash to the author of the instructions.

Hence, a shadowtalk term for a bug or defect which adds to the value of a product; or any set of incorrect instructions provided maliciously or for amusement value online. As of <date>843</date>, the interjective Awesome Amnesiacat! has also been seen occasionally, used to imply the discovery of something too good to be true.
