This company is responsible for the Interchangable Appliance Connector, which has become a de-facto industry standard for domestic appliances. The connector has ports to supply any combination of hot and cold water, electrical power, flamable fuels (including propane gas and heating oil, though appliances which use these will not be compatible between different worlds) and media and data networking. This means that a wide range of appliances, including kettles, refrigerators, washing machines, heaters and even home entertainment systems can be installed by simply hooking them up to a single connector.

The IAC was revolutionary because as well as supply of fresh water, the same port includes facilities for disposing of waste, and for waste gas - meaning that in a fully-connected home, it would be the work of 10 minutes to swap around the locations of a dishwasher and a central heating boiler. The connector also has strict specifications for the physical strength of the connector - meaning that many devices (including display screens and heating units) can be wall-mounted, supported by the connector itself. However, in some homes (particularly older buildings retroftted with IAC technology), contractors may have installed compliant connector ports without checking the load rating of the wall they are fitting them to - so unless you have a certificate of compliance issued by a Diomedes-registered engineer, it is not advisable to wall-mount heavier appliances.

Other products manufactured by Diomedes include the Domestron, an advanced android which comes equipped with 4 half-size IAC adapters, for smaller appliances such as kettles.
