Kingpin

Also known as a Head Man in some families, the Kingpin rules absolutely over the affairs of a Family of the Castillian Mafia, and is at the core of its Inner Family. Quite often, the Kingpin's extended family and retainers form the majority of a Family. A Kingpin always names his successor; on the rare occasions where this doesn't happen, either one man manages to form a new family from the squabbling factions by his own personality and others' respect and loyalty, or the whole Family falls apart. In either case, any debts or agreements with other Families would be considered void.
