Las pistol

A las pistol is one of the simplest energy weapons. A small ZPM shell (the largest part of the mechaism) is used to generate an electrical current, which is then used to power a small but efficient laser mechanism, typically generating a beam of electromagnetic radiation with wavelength around 6µm and energy output from 1 to 10kJ in a quater-second burst.
