Marlinspike is an ice giant, and also a major exporter of metal ores mined from its 67 moons.

In the outer system, there is an accelerative discontinuity paired with the one near the notorious non-planet Deadpool. At one point, the authorities attempted to mount a guard on the discontinuity, but this only allowed the smugglers who take paying customers to take even more extortionate prices from their customers, fueling the local black market economy. Now, they don't bother wasting government resources.
