The current Pope, also known as the Mortal Church, and medium of communication between the Terran and Catholic Churches. It is said that prior to his election by the Most Divine Grand Synod, he was raised as a proud but humble farmer on some unspecified rice-growing world. He heard the voice of the Catholic in the wind blowing across the fields, and heard the voice of every grain of rice. On investigating his ancestry, wondering if any of his family had experienced something similar, he was immediately contacted and elevated into the priesthood, and told that he was the immaculate descendant of Pope Glorianus VI, left to be adopted by mortal parents as he had not manifested sufficient divinity as an infant.
