Serum

Serum is a type of Nanocel Assemblage, essentially a group of Nanocels suspended in fluid form. The cels are normally able to replicate when supplied with sufficient ingredients. There are several common types of Serum, specified in the Serum Formulation Grimoire.

Some serums can be transfused as a blood substitute, or used to stimulate regrowth of certain organic materials. However, the most common use is simply to create a supply of Nanocels suitable for reprogramming as other Assemblages or Tattoos.
