The system includes a large number of minor planets and moons. Notable among these is <address>/Macwhite</address>, which was created by Geologic Engineering, and has black lines tracing partial great circles across its nearly-white dust surface as a result of Pressure Side Volitation. The moon was originally intended to be inhabited, with these ridges designed as landmarks for easier navigation. Now, they only serve to make it a distinctive reference point for pilots travelling within the system; in-system spaceflight is generally navigated using coordinates which are measured in degrees of arc from the current position of Macwhite.
