Faith

Faith was originally settled by a devout group of Core Cultists, believing that a suitably divine name would allow their colony to grow strong and pure. Unfortunately, though they had a lot of skilled preachers, and total dedication to the ideal of spiritual purity, they didn't have much in the way of management or agricultural experiences. Their fields were overgrown with weeds, and the survivors were eventually forced to leave, taking shelter with a sympathetic monastery on Omega.

Nearly 2000 years later, in <date>850</date>, historical researchers examining the ruined cities, now amid jungles which had even managed to change the composition of the atmosphere, found that there were people on Faith. It is believed that these primitive people may be the descendants of some who managed to miss the great exodus, although so far there has been little real investigation.
