Five Nights of the Cheese Moon
A book written by Gwen Tomadous. Some people say that this book is to give young children the same passion about saving animals that Gwen had when she was young. People have also been led to believe this book is based on Gwen's younger life when she help to save a planet's wildlife from extinction.
It follows the story of Delpio, a small boy who goes on holiday with his family, and as everyone knows moons are not made of cheese. So imagine Delpio's surprise when he wakes and the holiday place his mum and dad picked is a place called 'Cheese Moon'. Over the five days Delpio finds odd animals called Bangas living in a forest on Cheese Moon, and that a group of hunters are trying to capture them all. No-one will believe him that the hunters are attacking the wild life, So it is up to Delpio to save Cheese Moon's creatures from being captured and put in a Zoo.
