Originally known as Gobb and Son Astronautical, and founded by notable engineer Arkady Gobb to manufacture vapour pile engines, most notably his own innovative design. Following Arkady's death, the company was purchased by his assistant Mrquin 'Menno' Flexor in <date>1599</date>, and rebranded as UIC.
