Nonsensemen

A popular Sawtooth/Retropunk act, currently achieving more widespread popularity following the release of their first album Something Wicked via Transnet Publication. Previously, their work was only available on Magellan. They have been touring since 849, but only got their debut album released in Nov 844 after a long argument with the Magellanic Bureau of Media Classification. The board insisted that the band's name be split into two words Nonsense Men in order to avoid the inclusion of the substring semen in the publication catalogue. The band claimed that this was interfering with their artistic integrity, and the board finally conceded after a tour titled Nonsen in which their profits were entirely donated to anti-censorship charities (and the word "semen" appeared in planet-wide news articles no less that 1080 times).

The band consists of drummer/vocalist Cyrome Rape, keyboardist/drummer Geil Mickelist, Harmonic Dancer Jonnethan Strang and bass guitarist Lemman Gerber, all of whom originally come from <address>the now-closed [/Glasshouses] district of [Magellan/]</address>.
