Tethir

A water-based planet, whose core is made of steam, boiling at over 600 degrees under the extreme pressure. A few people live here, in modular submarine cities. The core is heated by gravitational stress, the result of a system with 14 rocks (and over a hundred moons) in very close orbits. Evidence has recently come to light suggesting that the inhabited planet, Tethir, has in the past collided with other rocks, exchanging moons. But now the cities floating below the surface are there, a collision would do more damage than simply swapping atmosphere.
