Died: Maveggan, self-inflicted gunshot, <date>Tri 850</date>

Mecinni was originally trained as an engineer and electrician; apprenticed to his grandfather, Gall's World's guildmaster Jon Mecinni. However, as soon as he was able to he decided to move to Maveggan to study electronics in an academic context instead; a decision which his grandfather never forgave. After leaving college, he found a way to predict the accumulation of power in complex systems and was even able to calculate that by switching a large number of home appliances on and off in particular patterns, it can cause an overload in other parts of the building power grid.

After failing to get a job as an electrician, he put this unusual formula to use as an assassin, using a computer virus which, infecting 40% of an office building's automated lighting and heating systems, would create surges to overload transformers or mutilate people with automatic doors. Although he later learned to use all kinds of weapons, it is this specialised attack for which he became famous.

However, despite his fame, there seems to be no paper record of Galgor Mecinni. He isn't mentioned on the 888 census for <address>[Gall's World/Wixzenster] or [Maveggan]</address>, nor does any well-known police force have records of an investigation into his crimes. Therefore many believe that his existence is mythical; the number of contradictory Films about him makes it even harder to tell. His biography, written in <date>845</date> by Madellane Vestibale, concludes that he may well have been (as the title puts it) The Greatest Assassin Who Never Was.
